Applications Open for the 2024-2025 Flourish Arts Grants Program

Merri-bek City Council is excited to announce that applications are now open for the Flourish Arts Grants Program. Designed to strengthen and sustain Merri-bek’s vibrant arts and culture community, the program aims to empower local artists and arts organisations through financial support.


This year’s grants include:


Individual Artists: Up to $5,000

Arts Organisations: Up to $10,000


The grants are part of Merri-bek’s ongoing commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in the local arts sector. The program supports artists in navigating new engagement models, building stronger connections through community-led initiatives, and ensuring sustainable growth in the arts.


Applications are open now until Tuesday, 3 September 2024, at 11:59 PM.


Key Objectives:


• Help local artists and organisations flourish and remain sustainable

• Strengthen the capacity of Merri-bek’s arts and cultural sector

• Encourage community engagement through arts-led activities


Applicants are encouraged to review the Grant Guidelines and use the provided templates, including budget templates and checklists. For further support, an online Information Session PowerPoint is available for download.
